Delhi College of Engineering is one of the oldest institutions in India. Established in 1940, it is a premier institution of India ranked amongst the TOP 10 Engineering Colleges/Technological Institutions in the country. The DCE Alumni can take justifiable pride in that its fraternity has eminently contributed to the Corporate Sector, Govt. Departments, Defence Organizations, Civil Services, Academia, R & D activities and entrepreneurial ventures both in India & abroad.

Alumni Association, DCE, a body of DCE graduates, provides an excellent platform for networking of all these business leaders and industry captains. Registered in January,1998 as a Registered Society, the Alumni Association, DCE has been very active in organizing various events and activities. Annual Alumni Meet is one such event, which attracts attendance of a large number of DCEites and distinguished guests from all parts of the country as well as abroad. Last year, Annual Meet was organized at Talkotra Stadium, New Delhi, wherein Hon'ble Union Home Minister Shri Shivraj Patil was the Chief Guest. This year, the Annual Alumni Meet - 2008 is being organized on Saturday, the 2nd February, 2008 at FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi. We are expecting a gathering of about 1000 people. A national seminar has also been planned on this occasion.

We are also planning to bring out a Souvenir to commemorate the Annual Meet. The souvenir containing presentations and papers by eminent Alumni shall be provided to the delegates and sponsors/advertisers. This souvenir will provide an opportunity to companies and corporates to advertise. Through this letter, we are inviting you to support the Association by organizing advertisements for this issue of Souvenir. Organizations are also invited to sponsor the meet. The contributions will be prominently acknowledged in all promotional and other conference material. Tariff details and Order Release Forms for the same are enclosed. The payment is to be made in favour of "Alumni Association Delhi College of Engineering" payable at New Delhi.
All contributions are exempted from Income Tax under section 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961.
