The Alumni Association organizes an Annual Alumni Meet every year in the month of February. These Annual Meets have been attracting a large gathering of our Alumni and their family members from various cities of India as well as abroad and provide an excellent platform for networking and meeting old friends.

This year, the day of the Annual Meet is 4th February (Saturday), 2012 and the venue remains the same as the previous Meet in 2011 (FICCI Auditorium, Tansen Marg, New Delhi). To celebrate the occasion, a cultural program has also been organized. As is the tradition, Golden Anniversary and Silver Anniversary batches (1962 and 1987 pass out graduates who are Members of the Association) shall be felicitated. In addition to above, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Distinguished Faculty Awards and Meritorious Student Awards shall also be presented.

The previous Annual Meet was held on 5th February (Saturday), 2011. Hon'ble Shri Virbhadra Singh, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, was the Chief Guest. A comic play, "Ghalib in New Delhi" by Pierrots Troupe organized on this occasion was a great hit. The function was followed by informal get-together and dinner.

The Meet was attended by a record gathering of about 1000 of our Alumni and their family members, both from India and abroad. As is the tradition, two of our Alumni namely, Shri A.K. Ganju and Shri V. Ramachandran were honoured with Distinguished Alumni Award by the Hon'ble Minister. Besides this, the Distinguished Faculty Awards and Meritorious Student Awards were also presented. A Souvenir was also released on this occasion. The Alumni Association organizes an Annual Alumni Meet every year in the month of January. However, this year on the suggestions received from some of our senior Alumni, the Meet has been organized in the month of February when winter takes a backseat and weather becomes pleasant.

The Day of the Meet is 2nd February 2008 (Saturday) and the venue remains the same as the previous Meet in 2007 (FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi). To celebrate the occasion, a "Hasya Kavi Sammelan" has also been organized. The Hasya Kavi duo of Shri Surendra Sharma and Shri Arun Gemini will be there, among others, to tingle your laughter bone and make the occasion memorable. As is the tradition, Golden Anniversary and Silver Anniversary batches (1958 and 1983 passouts who are Members of the Association) shall be felicitated.

The previous Annual Meet was held on 28th January, 2007 (Sunday). Dr. T. Subbarami Reddy, Hon'ble Minister of State for Mines, Government of India, was the Chief Guest. A Hasya Kavi Sammelan was also organized. The Meet was attended by a record gathering of more than 800 of our Alumni and their family members, both from India and abroad. As is the tradition, three of our Alumni namely, Shri Santosh Kumar, Shri Chander Prakash and Shri A.K. Sarin were honoured with Distinguished Alumni Award by the Hon'ble Minister. The previous Annual Meet was held on 14 th January (Saturday), 2006 at Talkatora Auditorium, New Delhi. Shri Shivraj Patil, Hon'ble Union Home Minister was the Chief Guest. On this occasion, a National Seminar on "Technological Innovations & Its Implications on National Security" was held. The Meet was attended by a record gathering of more than 800 of our alumni & their family members both from India & abroad. As is the tradition, four of our alumni namely Shri R.K. Jain, Shri C.M. Dutta, Prof. (Dr.) Shail Bala Jain and Shri S.L. Kapoor were honoured with Distinguished Alumni Award by the Hon'ble Minister. A souvenir was also released on this occasion.
